 Hello everyone and welcome to the new SiriusXM Hits 1 Countdown Listing Blogs. I'm artiepenguin from the YouTube channel ArtiePenguin1 and I'll be posting the latest countdowns from Hits 1 on this blog. I decided to start this blog since the many others that were in existence have since been mostly abandoned.

I also recently got one of the last portable radios from SiriusXM that allows full recording, the Pioneer/Audiovox XMp3i radio. The radio is fairly hard to find and it took 3 units to find one that was fully functional. Through recording the countdowns, I am able to quickly find and list the songs that were on the countdown without having to listen to the full countdown start to finish (which I would have to do if I used the streaming app/website). The streaming app and website is limited to 5 skips per hour for all music content and precise scrubbing is not allowed.

On this blog I intend to publish the 2 main countdowns plus a chronological list of songs (not ranked) in the weekly HitBound segment.

  • Whatuwant Countdown with Mikey Piff (Monday - Thursday)
  • HitBound with Mikey Piff (Fridays; not ranked)
Let me know any suggestions you have for me and this blog. I'd prefer to keep the content centered on Hits 1 and its related uncensored station Pandora Now, however, I might also cover the dance/EDM station BPM.

This is the 14th countdown of 2021 and the first one in April and the second quarter. Last week, Taylor Swift's "willow" ended Drivers License's streak at #1 and became the fifth different song to reach #1 this year. Will it continue to be #1? Scroll down to find out. An interesting note, this week I noticed at least 2 slip-ups on the countdown that referred to its former number of songs, 45. In the first part of the intro Spyder Harrison said, "Before we get to this week's fresh 45..." and there was an automated ident that said, "The 45 biggest hits in North America." It is likely these are just mistakes, but it would be nice to get back to 45 songs, even if it was 3 hours in length. Hits 1 Weekend Countdown - 2021 March 27

This is the 13th countdown of 2021 and the final one in March and the first quarter. Last week, Drivers License was #1 for the fourth week in a row. It is now the outright the top song of 2021 with four week at #1. Will it extend its time at #1? Scroll down to find out. This week, there are 3 songs entering and 3 leaving. Joshua Bassett's "Lie Lie Lie" (was #9), Sigala/James Arthur's "Lasting Lover" (#19), and 24kGoldn's "3,2,1" (#26) are all leaving the countdown. Joshua Bassett sets a new record on the countdown for the highest ranking song to fall out of the countdown from one week to the next. The previous record was the number 13 position for Ariana Grande's "34+35" just two weeks ago on March 13. Of those 3, "Lasting Lover" was the oldest song, being on the countdown since its premiere on January 1st.
