This is the 21st countdown of 2021 and this week Spyder Harrison is back from his 2 week vacation. Last week, Taylor Swift's "Mr. Perfectly Fine" became the 8th different #1 song of the year. Coldplay's "Higher Power" (was #30) is leaving the countdown after being on for one week and will be moving to Hit-Bound. It originally skipped Hit-Bound and went straight to the Weekend Countdown last week. The one new song is "90s Kids" from the new Hits 1 To Watch artist Jax (at #30). Just this past week, she was announced as the new Hits 1 To Watch artist after about 3 weeks of not having a Hits 1 To Watch. The last Hits 1 To Watch was Lil Huddy. I personally think this is the best Hits 1 To Watch Artist (and associated song) they have ever picked thus far. In addition to Jax's song, there are 2 new songs and 1 returning song to Hit-Bound this week.
