This is the sixth posting of Hit-Bound with Mikey Piff in 2021 and the first one in February. This week there are (a new 2021 record) six new songs on Hit-Bound. Those songs are from the artists Saweetie & Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, Mike Posner, Blackbear & Wiz Khalifa, Jessia, and Tate McRae.
The six songs leaving hitbound are "WITHOUT YOU" by The Kid LAROI, "Deep" by Foushee, "Space Girl" by Frances Forever, "Fly Away" by Tones & I, "Fix It to Break It" by Clinton Kane, and "Overwhelmed" by Royal & The Serpent.

Of those songs, five - meaning all but one -- "Fly Away" by Tones & I, "Fix It to Break It" by Clinton Kane, "Deep" by Foushee, "WITHOUT YOU" by The Kid LAROI, and "Overwhelmed" by Royal & The Serpent -- are moving over to the Weekend Countdown. "Skin" from Sabrina Carpenter has dropped out of the Weekend Countdown after its debut last week at number 23. Noteably, "Skin" debuted first on the Weekend Countdown instead of Hit-Bound.

Songs aren't ranked and are listed chronologically when they aired. Additionally, there are about 2-4 songs that air after Mikey Piff bids farewell but are still part of Hit-Bound.

This is the 14th countdown of 2021 and the first one in April and the second quarter. Last week, Taylor Swift's "willow" ended Drivers License's streak at #1 and became the fifth different song to reach #1 this year. Will it continue to be #1? Scroll down to find out. An interesting note, this week I noticed at least 2 slip-ups on the countdown that referred to its former number of songs, 45. In the first part of the intro Spyder Harrison said, "Before we get to this week's fresh 45..." and there was an automated ident that said, "The 45 biggest hits in North America." It is likely these are just mistakes, but it would be nice to get back to 45 songs, even if it was 3 hours in length. Hits 1 Weekend Countdown - 2021 March 27

This is the 13th countdown of 2021 and the final one in March and the first quarter. Last week, Drivers License was #1 for the fourth week in a row. It is now the outright the top song of 2021 with four week at #1. Will it extend its time at #1? Scroll down to find out. This week, there are 3 songs entering and 3 leaving. Joshua Bassett's "Lie Lie Lie" (was #9), Sigala/James Arthur's "Lasting Lover" (#19), and 24kGoldn's "3,2,1" (#26) are all leaving the countdown. Joshua Bassett sets a new record on the countdown for the highest ranking song to fall out of the countdown from one week to the next. The previous record was the number 13 position for Ariana Grande's "34+35" just two weeks ago on March 13. Of those 3, "Lasting Lover" was the oldest song, being on the countdown since its premiere on January 1st.
