Hello everyone, this is the 10th countdown of 2022 and the first countdown of March. Last week, Ed Sheeran's "Overpass Graffiti" was #1 for the second week in a row. How many weeks will he hold the number 1 spot? Scroll down to find out.

There were only two songs that left the countdown this week, "Cold Heart" from Elton John/Dua Lipa (was #23) and "Better Days" from NEIKED/Mae Muller Polo G (#13). The two new songs are highlighted in green in the spreadsheet and are "Weatherman" from Eddie Benjamin at #29 and "When You're Gone" from Alesso/Katy Perry at #19.
Eddie Benjamin and his song are currently the featured Hits 1 To Watch artist.

There was a lot of movement on the chart this week. The biggest drop was "Ghost" from Justin Bieber which fell 15 spots from #11 to #26. It is highlighted in red, which means that this week is its last week on the countdown.
The biggest jump was also 15 spots from #21 to #6 for my current favorite song "Numb Little Bug" from Em Beihold. The other double-digit moves this week were +12 spots for "When I'm Gone" from Alesso/Katy Perry (#19 to #7) and +11 spots for "Closer" from Saweetie/H.E.R. (#30 to #19).

Hits 1 Weekend Countdown - 2021 May 22

This is the 21st countdown of 2021 and this week Spyder Harrison is back from his 2 week vacation. Last week, Taylor Swift's "Mr. Perfectly Fine" became the 8th different #1 song of the year. Will it continue to be #1 for a second week in a row? Scroll down to find out. This week, there is only one song entering and leaving. Coldplay's "Higher Power" (was #30) is leaving the countdown after being on for one week and will be moving to Hit-Bound. It originally skipped Hit-Bound and went straight to the Weekend Countdown last week. The one new song is "90s Kids" from the new Hits 1 To Watch artist Jax (at #30). Just this past week, she was announced as the new Hits 1 To Watch artist after about 3 weeks of not having a Hits 1 To Watch. The last Hits 1 To Watch was Lil Huddy. For the 29 existing songs, 8 are staying in place and 3 are moving up or down by only 1 spot [2 down and 1 up]. So only 18 (62%) of those 29 songs moved by more than 1 s
